He enjoys going to the gym having recently joined a local fitness hub. Also enjoys the outdoors as he was brought up on the family farm.

Carl deals with the preparation of sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts. He also prepares personal and corporation tax returns.
He started his accountancy career in 2012 and has gained experience with various software packages as well as being a certified advisor in the main cloud accounting packages.
He is studying the ACCA and hopes to be fully qualified in 2021.

Helen Brook

Helen started her career in administration for a local textile firm before moving into credit control for a well know local drinks firm.
Moving into accountancy was a natural progression and has been at broadbents since 2006. She specialise in sole traders and sub contractors and has become a key part of the business.
During her spare time she makes sure her kids keep on the straight an narrow as well as enjoying time with her friends.

Sam Sharp AAT Level 2
Trainee Accountant
Sam joined Broadbents as a trainee accountant in July 2019 following his completion of AAT level2 in a previous finance based admin role. He is looking to extend his knowledge and qualifications and is currently studying towards his AAT level 3 exams.
Currenty sam assists with the preparation of year end accounts for Sole Traders and Limited Companies.
Outside of work Sam enjoys playing rugby and going to the gym

Sue-Ellen Lee
Semi-Senior Accountant
Sue-Ellen’s main role is to prepare accounts for Sole Traders and Limited companies, along with personal and corporation tax computations. She has good knowledge of cloud accounting Software and is a Certified ProAdvisor on Quickbooks; and regularly trains clients on the software.
Sue-Ellen is currently studying towards the ACCA Qualification.

Debra has been with Broadbents since 2013 in the role of Receptionist/Administrator, she has worked for 20+ years in the role of Receptionist in the Halifax area and enjoys meeting and greeting clients on a daily basis.

Kelley has been with Broadbents for over 9 years, she started in 2010 as Receptionist and has progressed to be a CIPP qualified Payroll clerk.
